Week #1 On my new Weight Loss Diet

It is one week after I Started the Every Other Day Diet. I weighed myself at the start of this journey towards a flat tummy fast. I did the same today, for the first time, to see whether I am on the right course. Of course, I was afraid of the results. When I started dieting, I was147 lbs (66.6 kg). Today, I have……145 lbs (65.7kg).
My plan was to drop 2 lbs (one kilo) every week. Nonetheless, I had my doubts about the feasibility of that plan, but I am glad that I have seen it is possible. I have tried to follow this diet religiously, but I must report that I have erred a few times. The problem lies in the fitness area.
The Every Other Day Diet calls for daily workouts, something I have not accomplished. That is why I was surprised that I actually lost a 2 lbs after all. In fact, I almost ignored the need to confirm my weight. It was shocking to see the digits on the scale changing rapidly.
It was a pleasant experience to see that I had shed 2 lbs (one kilo) after a week’s work. It is now time to focus and see what this diet plan has in store for my flat tummy fast objectives.
Let us look at how my diet has made this plan to be a success.
THE SHAKES
When I started this diet, my first complaint was about the awful shakes that were hard to swallow especially in the morning. I have good news. I have overcome that stage. I have learnt how to make exquisite shakes that I can drink without a fuss.
The stressful thing about those shakes was their texture. They could not flow past my mouth and I always felt like I would throw up with every gulp. I have done a few things to improve the blending process. One, I did away with my blender and bought an amazing food processor on Amazon. This appliance is a miracle worker. It does not leave lumps. It produces fine and smooth pulp. I also moved from using egg whites to protein whey powder (I bought this whey powder). Egg whites are difficult to deal with when making shakes. They do not feel the power of the blender because their texture remains the same.
With these changes, I cannot complain because I drink my shakes to the last drop.
FRUIT & VEG
I don’t like fruits. Given the choice between fruits and snacks, I would go for snacks in a flash. Now, since I know I need to lose weight fast, I have changed from my lot of snacks to the healthier option of fruits. So when I open my refrigerator, my hand now quickly goes for an apple instead of rushing for snacks. In this spirit, I want to increase my weekly vegetable intake.
